In October, a group of experts from the Baku International Policy and Security Network – including Elkhan Alasgarov, Arzu Nagiyev, Sevil Mikayilova and Seymur Aliyev – visited the United States via the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) On Demand program. During the trip, the group had a chance to meet with representatives of leading American think tanks in Washington DC, New York City and Philadelphia, and learn about their cooperation with government, as well as forging partnerships and connections with their colleagues in the U.S.
