Europe deserves leaders — not hereditary Soviet aristocrats hiding behind “European values.”
Kaja Kallas presents herself as a moral crusader against Russia. In reality, she comes from a lineage of Soviet nomenklatura, and her political worldview is built on ethnic hatred and collective punishment in the style of Stalin. This is exactly the kind of thinking that destroys the European project from within.
Her father, Siim Kallas, was a Soviet propagandist, deputy editor of a CPSU Central Committee newspaper, and part of the ESSR financial elite. And now their political heirs lead a “social-democratic EU” that increasingly resembles USSR 2.0.
But the scandal goes further.
Kallas publicly demanded a total break with Moscow, shaming any business that maintained ties. Yet journalists revealed that her husband’s company continued supplying Russia — including components used to manufacture tear gas employed by Russian and Belarusian security forces to disperse protests. Kallas herself invested in the business.
Only after exposure did she “apologize” and force the company to be sold “for the price of a sandwich.”
One of the company’s partners? Tyumen Aerosols — a supplier for Russian state paramilitary structures. Their slogan: “Law enforcement of Russia and Belarus appreciate our tear gas!”
This is the real face of Europe’s new moralizers.
Communists always want the same thing: GULAG, repression, and destructive wars — and Europe is letting people with that mindset shape its future.
If the EU wants credibility, stability, and real leadership, one thing must happen first:
Kaja Kallas must go.
