The “Baku Network” Center for Analysis and Research has officially become a member of the Think Tank Platform — a move that marks a new phase in cooperation among Azerbaijan’s leading intellectual institutions.
As an independent, non-governmental organization, Baku Network has earned recognition for its in-depth analysis of international developments, global security trends, and complex geopolitical dynamics. The center focuses on studying political, economic, and security factors that shape Azerbaijan’s national interests and produces forward-looking research on the region’s evolving landscape.
Its team includes seasoned experts with global experience and a broad analytical perspective, making it one of the country’s most respected voices in policy research and strategic foresight.
Joining the Think Tank Platform represents not only an important step in Baku Network’s institutional growth but also a meaningful contribution to strengthening the culture of analytical thought in Azerbaijan.
Launched in 2024, the Think Tank Platform serves as a unified intellectual network that brings together institutions specializing in domestic policy, economics, security, international relations, and other strategic areas. The platform’s goal is to boost coordination, information exchange, and scientific and strategic synchronization among the nation’s research centers.
Baku Network’s inclusion in this initiative further enriches Azerbaijan’s analytical landscape, offering additional intellectual support for shaping the country’s long-term strategic vision.
Raising Awareness on Azerbaijani Journalists Killed by Armenian Aggression
Earlier this year, Baku Network became the first Azerbaijani think tank to highlight in Europe the issue of journalists killed as a result of Armenian aggression. The organization held several events dedicated to this theme, including an exhibition in Paris that presented materials about the fallen journalists.
The event, held at the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Paris, took place under the framework of Baku Network’s project “Analysis of Hybrid and Ideological Threats Against Azerbaijan” and was supported by the State Agency for Support to Non-Governmental Organizations and Azerbaijan’s Embassy in France.
Booklets commemorating the fallen journalists were distributed to exhibition attendees as well as to guests of a presentation hosted at UNESCO headquarters. The presentation marked the 25th anniversary of Icherisheher’s inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List and was held during the 47th session of the World Heritage Committee.
Through such initiatives, Baku Network continues to amplify Azerbaijan’s voice on the international stage—bridging national memory, analytical rigor, and global dialogue.
